Modifying a vehicle involves risks and consequences one must be willing to accept. Often, modified vehicles may not meet the legal and safety requirements for use on public roads. Installation and usage of after-market parts and software may adversely impact drivability, reliability, emissions, insurance coverage and factory warranty. Although we warranty our own parts, we can not predict how our parts will interact with other parts installed, nor monitor specific usage, therefore warranty claims are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Although Buy Tuning aims to ultimately use only original content to convey its products and services, it often relies on manufacture images believed to have been produced to represent their respective products. However, due to the high number of images on the site, it is possible that copyrighted material might appear on our pages. If any content herein is found to constitute an infringement, please contact us and we’ll ensure immediate removal.
Misapplication, abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, neglect, alterations from their original configuration, or failure to follow installation instructions will void our limited warranty. No person, company, or other organization is authorized to assume for Buy Tuning any warranty responsibility or make binding judgments regarding warranties of any parts, which from time to time may become subject of a warranty claim.
Refund policy
Buy Tuning is proud to produce the highest-quality products for our customers. However, in the situation where a product must be returned, Buy Tuning, at its option, may offer an exchange or refund. We have a 30 Days Return Policy and guarantee our product with a 100% return/refund. Item has to be received back in original packaging and undamaged. The following process must be followed as Buy Tuning products returned without the following process below will be refused or returned without refund or exchange:
- Buy Tuning cannot accept unauthorized returns. All returned products must be authorized in advance by contacting Buy Tuning and obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return packaging.
- Returned products must be in a clean, unused, original condition, packed in the original packaging, and received at Buy Tuning within 30 days of sale date. Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued.
- Performance ECU Software sales are final after 14 days.
- ECU Software for used, custom, or non-Buy Tuning supercharger systems is non-refundable.
- Custom Order merchandise cannot be accepted for refund or exchange.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Exchanges are subject to availability of suitable products.
- A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds, except in the case of error by Buy Tuning.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
